Movement ecology and spatial-temporal dynamics of jaguar (Panthera onca) in southern of Pantanal, Brazil
Animation presented as part of the dissertation of Claudia Z. Kanda, entitled “Movement ecology and spatial-temporal dynamics of jaguar (Panthera onca) in southern of Pantanal, Brazil”. The animation was composed of two interactive scenarios: one scenario reproduced the movement dynamics of five individuals simultaneously monitored with GPS collars in Caiman Ecological Refuge and its surroundings, Miranda – MS, Brazil (satellite image from Google Earth), while the other depicted the distances between the male and the nearest female and between the most proximate females shown in the first interactive scene.
