I am an undergraduate student of Biological Sciences at UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho") and I am developing a Scientific Initiation at the Laboratory of Spatial Ecology and Conservation (LEEC), in the Ecology Department from the Biosciences Institute (IB), under the orientation of Prof. Milton Ribeiro and the PhD student Franciane Marchiori. My area of interest is mammal conservation and in my research I want to see influence of fires on the abundance and richness of medium and large mammals, in a gradient of forest cover in the Atlantic Forest, more specifically, at the Cantareira-Mantiqueira Corridor, since my project is part of the Long Term Ecological Research Project of the Cantareira-Mantiqueira Corridor (PELD CCM).
