Flávia Pinto

PhD candidate in Botany (JBRJ/UNESP), Bachelor in Biological Science (UnB), Master in Ecology (UnB) and Specialist in Remote Sensing for Environmental Planning (UnB). My research interest focuses on understanding the spatial pattern of species’ vulnerability to global changes and how to leverage environmental conservation decisions and public policies based on academic knowledge.

Project:

Forecasting the effects of land use and climate change on extinction risk and conservation status of endemic tree species in Amazon.

Advisors: Marinez Siqueira (JBRJ) and Milton Cézar Ribeiro (UNESP).
