Marina Scarpelli

I am a bachelor in Biological Sciences (UFMG, 2011-2016) and currently I am a master student at the Environmental Systems Analysis and Modelling programme at UFMG. During my undergraduate course I worked with Soundscapes and the impact of noise in animal communication. I developed my final coursework with acoustic niches and I am interested in Soundscape Ecology, associating the acoustic patterns with the landscape and other major environmental features (i.e. climate, regions, biomes...).

Project:

My master project aims to investigate the relationship between landscape features and the soundscape in a Atlantic Forest area in Sao Paulo state.

Grants and Funding:

My master grant is financed by CAPES.
