Pavel Dodonov

I am a Biologist with a PhD and a Masters in Ecology, by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Currently I'm a post-doctoral fellow at the State University of Santa Cruz, Ilhéus, Bahia, working with habitat fragmentation of the Atlantic forest of North-Eastern Brazil. My main research interests are the patterns and mechanisms of edge influence, the effects of habitat fragmentation, and ecological disturbances in general, including fire and invasive species.

Project:

Post-doc: Patterns, scales, and mechanisms of influence of landscape variables on the biodiversity of Atlantic forest fragments, under the supervision of Dr. Eliana Cazetta (State University of Santa Cruz).

Grants and Funding:

I received a PhD grant from CNPq and I spent 6 months in Canada, in 2013, with a grant from the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program.
